The upcoming Xiaomi 12 smartphone’s key specifications have surfaced online ahead of the phone’s imminent launch.

Xiaomi will be unveiling its new compact flagship phone on Tuesday, December 28. However, Xiaomi 12 phone’s major specifications have been revealed before the launch courtesy of Xiaomiui.

Moreover, the Chinese tech company will be taking the wraps off the Xiaomi 12X and the 12 Pro during the December 28 launch event. In the meantime, let’s check out the leaked specifications of the Xiaomi 12.

If the recently surfaced leak is anything to go by, the Xiaomi 12 will sport a 6.28-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a high 120Hz refresh rate. Aside from that, the display provides a pixel density of 419ppi, brightness of 1500 nits, 12-bit colors, and HDR10+.

Furthermore, there’s a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus on the display for additional protection. Under the hood, the phone packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

The leak suggests that the device will ship with LPDDR5 RAM and offer UFS 3.1 storage. Upfront, the phone could house a 20MP shooter for capturing selfies and video calling.

However, Xiaomi recently revealed that the phone will feature a 32MP front snapper. The selfie camera will come with a native beauty filter with GAN (generative adversarial network) based advanced pixel-level skin rejuvenation.

Other Expected Specs

Aside from that, the phone is likely to have a 50MP main camera, along with a 13MP ultrawide lens with 123-FOV, and a 32MP telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom at the back.

Moreover, the phone could use a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support to draw its juices. The battery unit is also said to offer 10W reverse wireless charging and 30W wireless charging support.

Also, the Xiaomi 12 smartphone will come running Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. The phone will feature Harmon Kardon technology-powered stereo speakers that support Dolby Vision.

Lastly, leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 12 will be available in 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage, and 12GB RAM+256GB storage models.
