Valorant players recently experienced a game-breaking exploit that enables Yoru to teleport inside of Breeze’s A Site Pyramids to plant the Spike.
Moreover, the walls of the pyramid can be shot through, allowing Yoru to hit enemies that get close, according to Dot Esports. On May 14, VALORANT bug catcher TPAXTOP shared a video showing how to reproduce the bug.
Yorus just needs to stare at a specific point on the pipes that connect both pyramids. You can then cast Gatecrash under the pipe connectors to launch the tether inside the pyramid.
You can then reactivate Gatecrash, transmitting you inside a structure where you can see out, plant the Spike, and even shoot at enemies. It is worth mentioning here that it works for either pyramid.
The exploit violates competitive integrity. The ability to kill an enemy through a wall is bad enough but to make things worse, only another Yoru can defuse a Spike that has been planted inside the pyramid.
Earlier this week, Breeze hit ranked queues, allowing players to take advantage of the exploit to climb the ranked ladder. This is not the first time a Valorant agent created problems for Riot.
Valorant players found a way for Omen to teleport inside of Haven’s C Site loading crate to plant the Spike. Omen could still be shot through the walls, however, players couldn’t defuse the Spike unless they had an Omen on the team.
Riot hasn’t addressed the exploit yet, but the developers are expected to patch it out soon. Earlier this year, Shroud had discovered a similar Valorant bug that allowed him to track enemy location.
