Valkyrae has revealed her YouTube contract is on the verge of expiring, raising questions about her future with the streaming platform.
Before making her foray into YouTube Gaming, Valkyrae was a big-name Twitch streamer. According to Rae, she decided to change the platform for a better offer. However, her lucrative YouTube contract is set to end soon.
During a recently concluded recent live stream, Rae revealed that she’s been on YouTube for three and a half years now. Next, she went on to reveal that her exclusive association with YouTube is slated to end after six months.
Valkyrae YouTube contract’s duration
Valkyrae recently returned to live streaming after her trip from Germany. She was playing PlateUp! with Sykkuno and kkatamina on her latest livestream when Sykkuno suggested he and Rae should use their dead Twitch channel to invite fans from there as customers.
During the conversation, the YouTube Queen realized she has been away from YouTube for a long time. To recap, she left Twitch on January 13, 2020, after signing an exclusive contract with YouTube.
Sykkuno, on the other hand, left Twitch for YouTube last year. Rae then told Sykkuno and Miyoung that she would be available on YouTube for another six months. “Only six months until my four-year contract is over,” Rae said.
As expected, they were shocked after hearing this information. Notably, Valkyrae’s contract with the red side was only four years long. The folks at The Sports Rush suggest Valkyrae will probably renew her contract with YouTube.
Alternatively, the 31-year-old American live streamer might decide to change platforms once again. To those unaware, many streamers including xQc and Amouranth have recently transitioned to the new streaming platform Kick.
However, it is still unclear whether they will approach Valkyrae with a lucrative offer. Rae congratulated xQc on his $100 million contract with Kick. So, it will not be surprising if she changes the platform once again.
