Valkyrae called out Sykkuno for refusing to attend EDC due to expensive tickets, noting that the latter is a “freaking multi-millionaire.”
Popular streamers Valkyrae, Pokimane, and Sykkuno recently teamed up to play Fortnite. The trio chatted for a while before playing the battle royale.
During their interaction, Sykkuno revealed that he will not attend the impending EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival). Notably, the content creator says tickets for the music festival carry a steep price tag.
Valkyrae, Pokimane react to Sykkuno’s reason
Valkyrae immediately called out Sykkuno, stating: “Expensive? You’re a freaking multi-millionaire!”
Rae went on to refer to the leak that revealed streamer earnings further noting, “Yeah, the Twitch leaks of 2020. Don’t forget!”
According to SportsKeeda report, Sykkuno was seemingly running late. So, he decided to skip EDC and play Fortnite with his friends instead.
“Yeah, and I’m not the last one here. So, happy about that. You know, guys, I’m skipping out on EDC to play Fortnite with you guys. That’s how much you matter.”
Valkyrae responded by saying she was developing a sprain from rolling her eyes so much at Sykkuno:
“We just started, and I’m already, like, rolling my eyes so hard, I’m getting a sprain.”
However, Sykkuno claimed he had no plans to attend the music festival. He eventually revealed the real reason behind his decision.
“Fine, I didn’t want to go to EDC. It’s expensive! It’s expensive, and I’m just going to walk around with my earplugs. Why would I? Yeah, it’s like, $1,000! They changed. You can’t buy one-day tickets anymore.”
Valkyrae called him out at this point noting that he is a multi-millionaire. Sykkuno went on to say, “Whoa, whoa! Let’s not expose that, even though it was already exposed during the Twitch leaks of 2020.”
“But, the point is… I know that was a joke. I think it’s 2022, actually. Anyway, the point is, it’s still expensive! And I was just going to walk around with the earbuds in. So, it’s kind of, you know… wait, was it 2020? I don’t remember. Anyway.”
