Valkyrae divulged key details about her dating in a recent podcast. Rae revealed that she is no longer searching for partners on dating apps.

Valkyrae is one of the biggest streamers on YouTube with more than a whopping 3.7 million subscribers on the platform. So, a lot of her fans are interested in her dating life.

However, Rae has admitted that she is single and enjoys meeting new people, as per a report by Dexerto. Further, she doesn’t rely on dating apps when it comes to searching for Mr. Right.

Valkyrae Reveals Why She Uninstalled All Her Dating Apps

The streamer revealed that she got rid of her dating apps over fears that someone will only want to date her because she’s a popular internet personality and not because they actually like her.

“I uninstalled it, but I have tried dating apps,” she told fellow 100 Thieves member Peter Parker. “I get too paranoid that I’m gonna get recognized and that’s gonna be the reason why they’re trying to talk to me.”

However, Rae says that she actually had a successful date courtesy of one program, but had to end the relationship because of her busy lifestyle.

“I’ve gotten into the habit of installing it, uninstalling it. Installing it, and then uninstalling it. I’ve actually gone on a date through a dating app. He was wonderful, he was great, but then I got too busy and I cut things off.”

She has similar fears as far as “verified” dating apps are concerned, which are only used by real celebrities.

“I’ve tried one of those apps before, and it’s still, you never know. Even if they’re verified, what if they’re like, ‘Oh my god, is that Valkyrae?’”

Rae says that’d prefer to “meet someone naturally that just doesn’t recognize me out in the street.” However, she’s single and enjoying life as one of the world’s most watched female streamers.
