Twitch star Valkyrae has shed some light on her collaboration with the popular South Korean girl group, Sserafim.

Notably, Sserafim is a new group which was formed in 2022. The group recently unveiled its English-language digital single called “Perfect Night”.

During her recent OG Fortnite stream, Valkyrae responded to questions asked by fans about how she collaborated with Sserafim.

Rae went on to explain that her own management team and Sserafim’s team communicated with each other to bring this partnership to fruition. 

“so, I have a team of people, I have a management and an agency. And other managements and agencies reach out to my agency and then… Le Sserafim’s team was like ‘Hey! You want to film some TikToks?'” she said.

The song “Perfect Night”, which promotes Overwatch 2, was released in collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment. Also, the 31-year-old streamer explained the process that helped her gain an opportunity to film TikTok dances on a set with Sserafim.

“Then my team reached out to me and they’re like, ‘Hey! You wanna do this?’ And then I say yes or no. I say yes.. and they go, ‘Okay! This is great.’ and then they pick the date and the time and they plan it all out. So, that’s what’s happening today,” Rae said.

Valkyrae Talks About Her Collaboration With Le Sserafim

Valkyrae has previously explained how she has been practising very hard for the dances she was going to film for Sserafim. Rae also admitted that she was surprised to know that the group had picked her for a collaboration.

“Sometimes I have to take a double take, and I’m like ‘Huh? Me?'” she said. She credited her team and the group for sparing no effort to make this happen.

“It’s because I have a great team and honestly, they have a great team as well. They have an amazing team because I feel like it is very smart for them to collab with people in the States. You wanna collab pretty much with everyone everywhere because I feel like it’s really good for branding,” Rae said.

She heaped praise on the music of the girl group, noting that she likes their songs. Rae also praised the agency, stating it is good at marketing their talent.

“They were at the Lakers game, which is just.. it’s so smart of them. It’s so awesome. I love seeing talent being represented so well by their agency… Like another example is Bella, like Bella Poarch. Her team does such a good job of keeping it going, keeping the ball rolling, y’know,” Rae said.
