Valkyrae and Grace Van Dien, who plays Chrissy Cunningham in Stranger Things, have become best friends after streaming Valorant together.

Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and Grace Van Dien instantly became best friends while they were streaming Valorant together on Twitch and YouTube. Notably, the pair claims their energy matched perfectly.

Van Dien streams on Twitch under the username bluefille. She has been gaining a lot of attention this month after fans found her live streaming Valorant.

To recap, Van Dien started streaming in March, but she attracted only 50-100 viewers at the time. However, her stream garnered skyrocketing popularity in May when Stranger Things Season 4 was released on Netflix.

Also, Grace streams Valorant most days. She started gaining more than 1000 viewers. However, a Dexerto report suggests that her stream exceeded 20,000 viewers after streaming with Tarik, LilyPichu, Disguised Toast, and Valkyrae.

Valkyrae & ‘Chrissy’ Become Best Friends 

The duo’s had matching frivolous energy. However, Rae kept calling her Chrissy rather than Grace. So, she initially mixed her real name and her character’s name.

After the stream, Valkyrae explained how much she loved Chrissy. Likewise, Grace was busy explaining the exact same about her.

“I love her. Her energy is the fuel to my soul. Oh my god she’s so cute,” Valkyrae said. Grace said “I want to be her best friend,” without realizing that Valkyrae was watching.

“She has energy that matches mine and it is very hard to find that. I don’t care, she’s my new best friend.”

They got on so well that Disguised Toast joked that playing with them both was like playing with “two Valkyraes.”
