Samsung is gearing up to host a launch event in China, where the much-awaited W23 foldable phone will break cover. Just like its predecessor, the W22, the upcoming W23 5G is likely to be a luxurious custom version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will reportedly be a part of the lineup with a W23 Flip moniker. Now, a new leak has given us a glimpse into the Galaxy W23 foldable’s design ahead of launch.
The leaked images were originally shared by CoolAPK. Notably, they do not highlight any major design changes in the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
In fact, Samsung used the same color scheme as the W22. The device has a polished grey back that houses a logo in the center with the text: “Heart to the world.”
Moreover, we can see a gold-plated hinge and edges. One of the leaked images showcases a gold-plated back, which could turn out to be the W23.
Samsung will sell the W23, and W23 Flip to raise money for charitable causes. The Samsung W22 5G sold for 16,999 Yuan ($2,372) last year.
The devices are likely to retain the specs of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. So, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset will be powering up the W23 and W23 Flip foldable phones.
Notably, the W23 Flip will be a clamshell phone, while the W23 will be a foldable phone. The former sports a 6.7-inch foldable screen and the latter features a 7.6-inch folded display.
