The Samsung rollable smartphone could launch along with the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, according to a fresh piece of information.
Earlier this year, Samsung launched the new S-series smartphones. Aside from this, the South Korean tech company has been unveiling a slew of other M and A-series smartphones this year.
Samsung will be hosting its Unpacked event in the second half of 2022, and the event will probably be teeming with new foldable devices.
If rumors making the rounds online prove to be true, the company could launch a rollable smartphone along with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 will reportedly pack Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chipset. Now, a new report from GalaxyClub suggests that the tech firm is planning to launch a new foldable smartphone this year in addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4.
Furthermore, the three new foldable devices are set to arrive in 2022 carrying codenames B4, Q4, and N4. The B4 device could be the Galaxy Z Flip 4, while the codename Q4 could be the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Samsung Rollable Smartphone In The Works?
However, it is still unclear what the N4 is at the moment. The word on the street is that the N4 is either a third foldable smartphone or some sort of accessory.
Noted leaker Ice Universe corroborated this speculation in a new tweet. The third foldable smartphone is reportedly codenamed Diamond and is likely to sport an Oppo X 2021 like display.

Aside from this, the report suggests that the third foldable device is highly likely to be a mere concept. So, it might not be an actual commercial device. So, Samsung will not manufacture as many of the third devices as the other two foldables.
Details about the purported Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold successors have also surfaced online. Ice Universe predicts that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset.
