Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 India launch could be right around the corner, as the upcoming tablet’s microsite goes live on Amazon.
The landing page on Amazon reveals some key specifications of the upcoming tablet. To recall, the tablet’s support page had also gone live on the official Samsung India website not too long ago.
The South Korean tech company announced the Galaxy Tab A8 earlier this month. The tablet features a 10.5-inch TFT display that delivers an aspect ratio of 16:10.
Moreover, the display includes a quad-speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be drawing its juices from a 7,040mAh battery with 15W charging support.

Regrettably, the microsite dedicated to the Galaxy Tab A8 does not divulge details about the tablet’s India price. For those who are unaware, Samsung kept the price of the Galaxy Tab A8 under wraps at its launch earlier this month.
However, Samsung confirmed that the tablet will be available in various regions including the US starting from Jan. 2022. Moreover, the tablet will be available in Silver, Gold, Pink, and Gray color options.
According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will retail for EUR 229 in Europe for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage Wi-Fi model. Likewise, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage LTE model will be available for up to EUR 359.
Specifications (Expected)
The Galaxy Tab A8 sports a 10.5-inch TFT display that offers a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent. Furthermore, the tablet runs Android 11 with One UI skin on top.
The One UI skin comes with the Drag and Split feature to support split-screen mode. Under the hood, the tablet packs an octa-core SoC with a 2.0GHz clock speed. The processor is paired with up to 4GB of RAM.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab A8 will reportedly ship with 128GB onboard storage capacity. Aside from that, it features a -speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos.
In the photography department, the Galaxy Tab A8 houses an 8MP rear-mounted camera. Upfront, the tablet features a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
The tablet draws its juices from a 7,040mAh battery with 15W charging support. It has a USB Type-C for charging.
For connectivity, the Galaxy Tab A8 includes Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE. Other notable features include facial recognition and Biometric options.
