The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone’s specifications have been revealed in the Geekbench database ahead of the rumored 2023 launch. Samsung is reportedly gearing up to host its Unpacked 2023 event in January or February next year.
The Korean tech giant will reportedly unveil the Galaxy S23 series at the impending event. However, details about the highly-anticipated Galaxy S22 series successors are surfacing online ahead of official confirmation.
Now, the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 model has passed through the Geekbench benchmarking website. As expected, the Geekbench listing sheds some light on the upcoming handset’s key specs.
Specifically, the listing divulges the vanilla model’s processor, RAM, and OS version. The Geekbench listing was originally spotted by the Dutch website Galaxy Club.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Spotted On Geekbench
According to the listing, the Galaxy S23 will pack a next-gen flagship chipset from Qualcomm. This could turn out to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, although the listing does not mention the exact name of the processor.
Nevertheless, the Geekbench listing confirms the device has model number SM-S911U and it features a Kalama motherboard.
For those unaware, the Kalama motherboard reportedly belongs to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC. The CPU has one prime core clocking at 3.36GHz.
Moreover, there are four mid-cores and three small cores clocked at 2.80GHz and 2.02GHz, respectively. Furthermore, the handset will ship with 8GB of RAM and run Android 13 OS.
Past leaks suggest the Galaxy S23 will be available in beige, black, green, and light pink color options. Also, recently leaked renders have given us a glimpse into the smartphone’s awe-inspiring design.
