Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone will reportedly include a variant that offers a whopping 1TB of onboard storage capacity.
The South Korean tech giant is gearing up for the imminent launch of its next-generation Galaxy S-series flagship smartphones. The series will reportedly include the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and the S22 Ultra models.
The upcoming Galaxy S-series flagship lineup has been subject to several leaks lately. Moreover, the rumor mill has been churning out all sorts of speculations around the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Storage Variant
A new report from SamMobile suggests that the top-end Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra variant will offer 1TB of built-in storage capacity.
To recall, earlier reports indicated that the S22 Ultra will max out at 512GB of onboard storage. However, fresh information hints at a 1TB storage version for the top-end model in the lineup.

This is understandable given that the S22 Ultra is a spiritual successor of the now-discontinued Galaxy Note series phones. To recall, Samsung launched a 1TB variant of the Galaxy S10 Plus back in 2019.
What Else To Expect
If this speculation proves to be true, Samsung will be competing with the likes of the latest iPhone models that offer up to 1TB of storage. Aside from that, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be providing a dedicated slot to house the S-Pen stylus.
If the leaks are anything to go by, the 1TB internal storage model will ship with 16GB of RAM. Moreover, there will be a 12GB RAM model and three other internal storage options including 512GB, 256GB, and 128GB.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra live images suggest that the phone will be available in matte black and white color options.
All Galaxy S22 series models will pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or the Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC based on the region of launch. The phones will go on pre-sale starting from February 8 in South Korea. However, the official launch could happen towards the end of February or early March.
