The Samsung Galaxy S22 FE smartphone might launch soon, despite some rumors indicating that it might not see the light of day.
The Galaxy S22 series is likely to get new smartphones in the coming days. The lineup comprises three premium smartphones including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The Korean tech firm is reportedly prepping to unveil the Galaxy S23 series early next year. The word on the street is that the next Galaxy S-series smartphones will break cover on February 1.
The S23 series trio will be available for purchase in the US and a slew of other regions. Now, it looks like Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S22 FE at the Galaxy S23 series launch event.
According to earlier reports, Samsung has canceled the Fan Edition series. However, the company neither denied nor confirmed this speculation.

The noted tipster claims the new Galaxy FE smartphone will launch in the US on February 1, 2023. Apparently, Samsung will host a Galaxy Unpacked 2 event to unveil the device.

Furthermore, the leaker suggests the Galaxy S22 FE will replace the Galaxy A74 5G, which some reports claim has been canceled.

Also, Samsung is planning to cancel the Galaxy A7x series, while the Galaxy A54 5G will go official in 2023. The Galaxy A7x series carries a similar price tag as the Galaxy FE variant in some markets.
What Else To Expect?
So, it is safe to assume that Samsung might launch the FE variant with a flagship experience for a relatively affordable price than the Galaxy S22 lineup.
The tipster claims the Galaxy S22 FE will pack a new processor and get a new camera sensor. Earlier reports suggest Samsung will not launch the Exynos 2300 SoC.
In other words, the Galaxy S22 FE will probably get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. RGcloudS believes the SoC is fabbed on a 4nm process.
The same SoC will reportedly power up the Galaxy Tab S8 FE premium tablet. The Galaxy S22 FE will feature a Samsung 108MP HM6 sensor.
