The Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone is likely to house a 50MP sensor, while its predecessor features a larger 64MP primary sensor.
To recap, Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 earlier this year. The A-series normally sticks to a yearly launch cycle. So, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy A54 to break cover in early 2023.
In other words, the Samsung Galaxy A54 launch isn’t right around the corner. However, there’s no dearth of rumors surrounding the Galaxy A53 successor.
A report by GalaxyClub claims the Galaxy A54 will come with a downgraded camera. Notably, the camera of the Galaxy A54 could support lower resolution than the camera on its precursor.
The Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A52s 5G, and Galaxy A53 5G have a 64MP main sensor on the back. However, the Korean tech giant could oust the 64MP sensor in favor of a 50MP camera on the Galaxy A54.
However, it is still unclear which 50MP sensor Samsung will use on the upcoming Galaxy A54. The report claims the Galaxy A54 has model number SM-A546B. Also, the device has reportedly entered the testing phase.
Moreover, the Galaxy A54 could pack an Exynos processor under the hood just like the Galaxy A53. The Galaxy A53 features an Exynos 1280 processor.
Samsung is also testing the Galaxy A34 5G And Galaxy A14 5G, if rumors are anything to go by. These handsets carry model numbers SM-A346B and SM-A146B respectively.
These smartphones are likely to see the light of the day in early 2023. So, more vital pieces of information regarding these handsets are likely to surface online in the coming months.
