Samsung Galaxy A54 Packs A Bigger Battery Than Its Predecessor: Report

A new leak surrounding Samsung Galaxy A54 suggests a bigger battery will power up the upcoming smartphone.

Samsung is reportedly on the verge of unveiling the Galaxy A53 successor dubbed the Galaxy A54. Ahead of the launch, details about the Samsung Galaxy A54 battery have surfaced online.

According to a new leak, the Samsung Galaxy A54 will use a larger battery than its predecessor to draw its juices. This piece of information comes from the Dutch website GalaxyClub.

Samsung Galaxy A54 Battery Details

According to the report, the Galaxy A54 will pack a 4,905mAh battery. To recap, the Samsung Galaxy A53 was launched with a 4,860mAh battery earlier this year.

Furthermore, the report points out that Samsung touted the battery of the Galaxy A53 as a 5,000mAh unit. So, the Korean tech giant could market the battery of the Galaxy A54 as a 5,100mAh unit.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 will reportedly house a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor. However, the handset might not get a separate depth sensor.

The report from GalaxyClub suggests the primary camera of the Galaxy A54 will be capable of collecting depth data. Moreover, the Galaxy A54 will be a mid-range A-series smartphone.

The Galaxy A54 will reportedly sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it might pack an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7904 chipset.

The upcoming Galaxy A54 will reportedly ship with 6GB of RAM and offer 64GB of onboard storage capacity. The rear panel could house an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP depth or macro sensor.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy A54 concept images popped up on the internet in April. The phone appears to draw inspiration from the Galaxy A series as far as design is concerned. However, it seems to have symmetrical bezels.
