The South Korean tech company is set to take the wraps off the Galaxy A13 5G sometime next year. It is touted as Samsung’s most affordable 5G-ready smartphone. However, the company is still mum on the exact launch date of the budget 5G smartphone.
Despite Samsung’s attempts to keep details about the phone under wraps, some shreds of vital information about the Galaxy A13 5G have surfaced online ahead of the launch. Back in October this year, the smartphone passed through Geekbench benchmarking website carrying model number SM-A136U. As expected, the listing divulged some of the phone’s specifications. Now, detailed renders of the smartphone have leaked online.

Details about the Galaxy A13 5G’s launch date are still scarce. However, the smartphone has been subject to multiple leaks and speculations lately. In collaboration with noted tipster Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks), Zouton has shared high-quality design renders of the smartphone. These renders offer a clearer view of the phone’s Samsung Galaxy A13 5G design. The phone will house three rear-mounted cameras, according to the leaker. Aside from that, @OnLeaks has revealed the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G specifications and features.

The leaker suggests that the handset will house a 50MP main camera that will have an f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, there will be two other sensors including a 5MP ultrawide sensor, as well as a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Upfront, the phone will have a water-drop notch to house the selfie camera. Regrettably, details about the front shooter are still few and far between. However, MySmartPrice suggests that it could come with an 8MP selfie camera. Moreover, the phone is tipped to sport a 6.48-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution
What Else To Expect?
The display is encompassed by considerably thin bezels. However, the bezels are relatively thick at the chin. As a result, the Galaxy A13 5G offers an 83.4 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The right side of the plastic frame has a fingerprint scanner, with the volume buttons placed right above it. Furthermore, the phone packs a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. It will ship with 4GB of RAM and offer 64GB of built-in storage capacity. Aside from that, the phone will be available in a 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant.
The Galaxy A13 5G will be drawing its juices from a robust 5000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It is still unclear whether Samsung will offer a 15W charger in the box. The phone’s dimensions are 164.5mm x 76.5mm x 8.9mm. The Galaxy A13 5G will hit the store shelves in the US and Canada carrying a price tag of $250. Moreover, the phone is likely to go on sale in four color options including White, Blue, Red, and Black. It will run Android 11 OS out of the box with OneUI 3.1 on top.
