Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has hinted at possible space projects that could see the ex-Soviet country team up with SpaceX.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently revealed that he had a meeting with Elon Musk over the Russia-Ukraine war. This meeting came amid Russia’s decision to intensify its attack on its neighbor Ukraine.
Zelensky went on to announce that SpaceX will be providing Ukraine with another set of Starlink satellite broadband systems “for destroyed cities.”
President Zelensky Teases Possible Space Projects With Elon Musk
Aside from that, the Ukrainian President teased potential space projects that could come to fruition “after the war.”
Moreover, these alleged space projects would require the ex-Soviet country to collaborate with Elon Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, according to a report by NDTV.

“Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities. Discussed possible space projects. But I’ll talk about this after the war,” he added.
To recall, Elon had provided Starlink satellite internet terminals to Ukraine after the country’s internet services were hit due to the military invasion by Russia.
However, the business magnate later warned that Starlink could be Russia’s next target in Ukraine, considering that it is the only non-Russian communications system still working in some parts of Ukraine.”
Starlink boasts a constellation of over 2,000 satellites for providing internet access across the planet. On Friday, 50 more Starlink satellites from the company made their debut. Many more are likely to enter into Earth’s orbit in the coming days.
