The wait for the OnePlus ‘T’ series will be longer than we expected. OnePlus Technology Co Ltd made the announcement and silenced all the rumors.
There were a lot of speculations for its ‘expected’ upcoming OnePlus 9T and OnePlus 9T Pro. However, shutting them down the company announced that the phones won’t come out this year, as reported by XDADevelopers.
This news has come as a part of the general announcement on what can be expected from the company when it comes to software. OnePlus ‘T’ series phones are a traditional upgrade to their existing counterparts, something which the company has been following for quite a long time. However, this year plans to take a different turn.
Adding to the announcement, the company also mentioned they plan to give way to other launches this year. What these launches are going to be? That’s something we’ll have to wait and watch but we have a sneak peek.
Speculated Launches by OnePlus
If the speculations are to be believed, the company may be working on a pair of new truly wireless earbuds called the One Plus Buds Z2 TWS anticipated to roll out this year.
Along with these wireless buds, the company may also be working on a revamped version of the smartphone OnePlus 9R. The smartphone made its debut earlier this year. The new model will be called OnePlus 9 RT and will have very exciting features. We’ve listed a few features to satisfy the techie in you!
The rumored new smartphone will reportedly feature a 50MP Sony IMX 766 primary camera sensor and 120Hz AMOLED display. It will come with a 16 MegaPixel front-facing camera and a better-binned version of the Snapdragon 870 processor.
Expected to hit the markets this year, it will not come out in all the markets. This smartphone phone is likely to be exclusive to China and a few other markets.
Both these gadgets- the wireless buds and the upgraded smartphone- could come out sometime in October for the public.
These speculations actually move parallel with the company’s announcement of launching other things this year!
Recently, the Chinese manufacturer also added a fancy upgrade to its smartphones. OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will have a new Hasselblad XPan camera. The company paired with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad to enhance its camera performance.
