After floating around the internet for quite some time now, the Nokia 5.4 mid-range phone has finally been launched in Europe.
The recently unveiled phone will be replacing the well-received Nokia 5.3 that was launched in Mar. this year. While it retains its predecessor’s round-shaped camera module, the Nokia 5.4 has a new punch-hole display design on the front.
Specifications and Features
The Nokia 5.4 sports a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone boots to the Android One edition of the latest Android 10 OS. Moreover, it has a dedicated physical key to activate the Google Assistant and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
Upfront, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. The round-shaped camera setup at the back comprises a 48MP primary shooter, a 5MP super-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth helper. The Nokia 5.4 is integrated with built-in OZO audio and wind noise cancellation.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 662 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone offers up to 128 GB of native storage. HMD Global has equipped the handset with 10W charging support for the 4,000 mAh battery of the smartphone.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the Nokia 5.4 offers dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Housed in a polycarbonate-body, the phone measures 160.97 x 75.99 x 8.7mm and weighs 180 grams.

The Nokia 5.4 has arrived in the European markets in options like 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The base model will set you back 89 euros ($229), according to GizmoChina. It comes in multiple color options including Polar Night and Dusk.
