Friday Fortnite is slated to make its much-awaited comeback, according to Keemstar. “Friday Fortnite is back! ”
Ardent Fortnite Battle Royale fans are likely to remember the modest early days of the competitive scene. FNCS (Fortnite Champion Series), Fortnite World Cup, and seasonal Skirmish tournaments played vital roles in overhauling Online competitions.
Tournaments required a lot of creativity, given that neither LAN events nor custom lobbies existed at the time. However, most were downgraded to enclosed “kill races,” which involved two duos loading into a squad match in a bid to earn most eliminations.
Friday Fortnite To Make A Triumphant Comeback
To recall, Fortnite Friday surpassed them all. Taking to Twitter earlier today, Jan. 11, Fortnite Friday tournament host Daniel “Keemstar” Keem teased the imminent arrival of the classic tournament.
Regrettably, details about the fan-favorite Fortnite tournament format are still scarce. However, in his tweet, Keemstar noted that “Fortnite Friday is back!”

In a follow-up tweet, the online personality posted a video, admitting that his decision comes from a desire to “get back to the roots” and offer more gaming content.
In other words, we are likely to see content creators and professional players make notable contributions in Friday Fortnite’s revival, per ESTNN.
Interestingly, the tournament will be making its comeback at a time when winning public matches has turned out to be an arduous task.
After hosting Friday Fortnite in 2019, Keemstar discontinued the event because Epic Games released seasonal FNCS competitions. As expected, the announcement gained positive responses from professional players like aqua, MackWood, and former FNCS Champions Mero Saf.
