Galaxy S23 Series Unlikely To Stop Samsung Fans From Switching To iPhone 14 Pro, Poll Suggests

The hype around the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is fading, if an informal poll is anything to go by.

According to an informal poll, a large number of Samsung fans are prepping to switch to Apple. One of the main reasons for switching is the highly appealing Dynamic Island notch.

Aside from this, the overall positive feedback of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is encouraging Samsung fans to make the switch, according to a report by NotebookCheck.

Also, the latest leaks have shown that the Galaxy S23 series will not bring notable upgrades over its predecessor. Samsung fans are understandably apprehensive about the Galaxy S22 successors.

Meanwhile, the rumor mill continues to churn out speculations around the minimal changes the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be offering. Also, some leaks show that the 2023 flagship devices will adopt the classic Galaxy Note design with minimal design innovations.

Now, reliable leaker Ice Universe posted a poll asking “if you are a Samsung phone user, what brand are you going to switch to?”

The poll has Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, and OPPO or Vivo (together) for options. Both OPPO and Vivo gained just 3.5 percent of the vote, while Xiaomi garnered 5.7 percent.

Apple, on the other hand, gained a whopping 46.3 percent of the votes. However, Samsung managed to receive 44.6 percent of the votes.

Overall, the poll received 28,730 votes, which is not an unsubstantial amount. This poll result seems to represent the discontent with the Galaxy S series and Samsung.

Some commenters noted that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max aren’t easy to avoid. The devices pack super fast A16 Bionic chips and feature a Dynamic Island notch solution.

On the downside, many potential customers are afraid of being trapped in the Apple iOS ecosystem. Nevertheless, the negative comments about the upcoming Samsung flagship’s boxy design suggest the Galaxy S23 Ultra won’t meet the expectations of Samsung fans.

Moreover, if Apple comes up with a USB-C iPhone featuring an in-screen fingerprint reader in the future, it is more likely to give Samsung a run for its money.
