In February 2020, Samsung had launched the Samsung Galaxy M31 with 6GB RAM and two storage options – 64GB and 128GB. Now on the company website, there is a new name on the list, and its the Samsung Galaxy M31 that comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The new 8GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy M31 sits at a higher level than the other two and is priced just under 20,000 INR.

According to the official Samsung India website, the Galaxy M31 8GB RAM is on the ‘Notify Me’ option, which means at the moment it is not available to buy. The smartphone has still not appeared on the Amazon India list. There are no details on when the 8GB RAM option will go on sale in India.
The Galaxy M31 is powered by the Exynos 9611 SoC and runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. This variant features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity U display and is coupled with 6GB RAM or 8GB of RAM + 128GB internal storage. You can also expand the storage via a microSD card.
The 8GB RAM smartphone has a quad-camera setup that includes an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, a 64MP primary camera, and finally a 5MP depth sensor. For the selfies, there is a 32MP selfie camera in front of the phone. It has a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack, a face lock system, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers Bluetooth 5.0, 4G/LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port. There is a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
