Cody “Clix” Conrod has lost his Support-A-Creator (SAC) Code privileges following a controversial tweet from the popular Fortnite pro.
The professional Fortnite Battle Royale player confirmed the news on Twitter on Wednesday night.

Clix had just finished competing in the DreamHack Cash Cup Extra tournament, where he and Timothy “Bizzle” Miller and Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf finished in the 19th spot, evenly splitting $600, per ESTNN.
When Clix first found out that his Creator Code was inactive, he thought it was a result of previous wager match rule breaks. He later learned that a tweet considered unprofessional led to him losing his Support-A-Creator (SAC) Code privileges.
It is no secret that the Fortnite community is primarily of a younger demographic. With teenagers dominating the competitive scene, Clix can be touted as one of its top players.
On May 11, the 16-year-old player tweeted a message that drew a laugh from his fans, but not from Epic Games.
Before the post was deleted, it garnered over 15,000 likes and hundreds of retweets. “I thought everyone would take it as a joke,” Clix explained.
Realizing how the tweet might reflect on those he is affiliated with, Clix following up adding that he “understands” the decision.“I’m representing a company, I shouldn’t [have] tweeted it. Hope to get it re-enabled.”
Epic Games has not responded to Clix on the matter. It remains to be seen whether or not the developers will reinstate his code anytime soon.
