Elon Musk has defended MrBeast, who has been catching flak for his latest charity video where he helped deaf people hear again.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s wild videos have been taking YouTube by storm over the last few years. Notably, the YouTube star has given fans and friends opportunities to make appearances in his videos and even win big prizes.

MrBeast charity called Beast Philanthropy helps people by using the money his other YouTube channels make. According to a Dexerto report, some of his viewers claim it’s not charity since he is making it so public, although he is helping some worthy causes.

In his newest charity video, the YouTuber helped 1000 deaf people with their hearing. However, he has come under fire and has been criticized for the thumbnail.

“This is nice and all, but why does Mr. Beast’s thumbnail editor feel the need to have his hand clutching a child’s shoulder as he grins ominously behind them???” one critic asked.

Elon Musk defended MrBeast via a tweet: “People definitely shouldn’t be attacked for doing good. Is it really just a question of money to restore hearing?”
