Elon Musk Accused Of Sabotaging Chechen Warlord’s Cybertruck

Russian Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who previously received a Tesla Cybertruck from billionaire Elon Musk, has expressed disappointment after the vehicle was remotely disabled. Despite allegedly receiving the car as a gift, Kadyrov views Musk’s action as a cold move.

Did Elon Musk Gift Kadyrov a Cybertruck?

Musk has publicly denied gifting Ramzan Kadyrov a Tesla Cybertruck, contradicting Kadyrov’s claims. Tesla’s remote vehicle disabling has raised concerns among other Cybertruck owners. They wonder if Tesla might also disable their battery-powered trucks if it chooses to.

As reported by Politico, Kadyrov criticized Musk for “remotely disconnecting” his “expensive gift” from August: “Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the bottom of his heart and then remotely disconnects them. That’s not manly. How could you do that, Elon?”

On the other hand, the 53-year-old Tesla CEO has denied gifting Kadyrov the Cybertruck, making it clear that the vehicle was not a gift. Kadyrov’s claims in August were likely a fabricated attempt to mislead the public.

Kadyrov Thanks Musk and Extends Invitation

Musk expressed disbelief and amazement that anyone would believe he’d gift a Cybertruck to Kadyrov. In contrast, the Chechen leader claims he deployed two other Cybertrucks in combat on Friday.

Kadyrov described the Cybertruck as “undoubtedly one of the best cars in the world” and invited Musk to visit Russia. Neither Tesla nor Musk has publicly commented on the incident or confirmed whether the company disabled the Cybertruck.
