Dallas Empire has released Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter and Reece ‘Vivid’ Drost as part of its recently introduced changes to its Call of Duty League roster. Crimsix, the three-time world champion, and the highly publicized midseason pickup Vivid have been released just ahead of the 2022 season.
Crimsix is inarguably one of the greatest CoD players of all time as he has three championships. Moreover, he has reigned atop the e-sport. He played a vital role in the Empire grabbing the first-place finish in CDL Champs 2020. Aside from that, he helped the gaming organization grab the third spot earlier this year.
The Empire has also released Vivid, who was the organization’s eventual replacement for Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland. Vivid is one of the league’s good submachine gun players. Both ‘Crimsix and Vivid took to their Twitter account to share details about their approaching restricted free-agent status.
According to Empire, this is not to test their market value. The org expressed their gratitude towards the two players via a tweet, thanking them for their time in Dallas. According to Dexerto, this could be an indication that the Empire will not be re-signing the two players.

Aside from these announcements, the Paris Legion and Seattle Surge both have fully dropped their teams. As a result, the 2021 CDL season has made its foray into the 2022 rostermania with some careless cast-offs. You can check out the Empire’s current roster below.
