Corpse has been gaining popularity on YouTube for quite some time now. Aside from this, he is a music artist whose fame can be attributed to his deep voice.
To recall, he first rose to popularity back in late 2020 after appearing in live streams with other major broadcasters. Since his first appearance, Corpse has gained a whopping 7 million YouTube subscribers.
Moreover, he has released a song in collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly. As if that weren’t enough, he recently bagged a starring role in Funimation’s Tribe Nine anime.
Corpse Husband Reveals Why He Wears Mask IRL
However, Corpse refrains from showing his face. The YouTube star has admitted that he has severe anxiety about someone seeing his face in the past. So, he never shares photos of himself.
He has used an animated avatar to represent himself in previous projects. Moreover, his collaboration with influencers and companies is usually online.
With his popularity skyrocketing, real-life meetings are inevitable. So, he wears a mask to conceal his identity. Just to clarify, he wears a mask outside of global health concerns.
“The vocals would be a bit warped because of the mask,” he said when discussing going out and meeting people while wearing a mask during a live stream.
Regrettably, communicating effectively is not possible with a mask on. The material affects the sound quality of his deep voice, according to a report by Dexerto.
“Even already, when I use a mask to talk to people in person, it cuts out some of my voice,” he added.
Nevertheless, using a mask is currently allowing him to navigate IRL meetings. Watch this space for more updates on popular streamers!
