Apex Legends gamers have found a new melee glitch in the game and they are quite frustrated with the issue.
The core gameplay mechanics of Apex Legends is praised by players. However, there is one part of the game which has received condemnation, i.e. the melees.
According to Dexerto, despite their relativity weak damage output, players have criticized them for their inconsistency, with seemingly arbitrary factors determining whether or not you land your melee efforts. Some players also pointed out how difficult recovery is when melee, with your HUD distorted and character, forced back.
A plethora of players has demanded a change in the melees. Gamers have termed the melees as inconsistent, overpowered, and even broken.
Apex Legends Player Finds Melee Glitch
Recently, players have found another new melee glitch in the game which has deteriorated the gaming experience with melees.
A Redditor named eClic shared a clip about the new melee glitch. In the clip, the user was chased through a building and ultimately meleed to death by a Loba who seems to teleport through a closing door to hit them.
The clip gained a lot of attention on Reddit and several commentators began discussing the issue in the comments section.
Another user wrote that doors do a better job at knocking my lifeline drone around than blocking bullets.
Another commentator said that unfortunately, this looks like melee locking onto you plus latency. There’s almost no way to avoid it.
Another Redditor wrote that Apex servers are trash. Thus, the glitch has exasperated the gamers.
Respawn published a statement on their website. It was regarding opponents hitting players while being around the corner.
As per Respawn, the problem is a result of lag compensation. Respawn intentionally, added it into their game. However, the developers promised that they will reduce the glitch.
