YouTube star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has reached a whopping 500 gameplay hours in Among Us, becoming an “icon.”

Among Us developers deemed Valkyrae an icon after she smashed a massive milestone by reaching 500 gameplay hours in the online multiplayer game. 

Valkyrae has a reputation for playing a wide range of games during her live streams. Fortnite, GTA, and Valorant are some of her favorite titles.

However, Among Us holds a special place in her heart. The online multiplayer even led to her friendship with her fellow Amigops. Further, it played a vital role in helping her create Sussy Sundays.

Moreover, Among Us has helped the YouTube Gaming star gain some staggering viewership numbers. So, it is barely surprising that she spends hundreds of hours playing the game. 

Valkyrae announced that she reached 500 hours playing Among Us on August 1. The number even reflects on her Steam account, as per a Dexerto report.

The official Among Us Twitter account reacted to the announcement by calling her an “absolute icon.” To recap, Valkyrae spared no effort in a bid to save Among Us when the game was losing its luster in early 2021.

Notably, some fans claim they have played Among Us for an even bigger amount of time. For instance, streamer Kara Corvus claims that she had plugged a whopping 1.7k hours into the game.

So, Rae doesn’t boast the biggest numbers as far as gameplay hours are concerned. Nevertheless, she is one of the world’s most popular Among Us streamers.
